A Snapshot

What childhood memory has shaped you into the person you are today? For us, attending our first concert at the ages of 6 and 10 is when we knew concerts and music would be a part of our lives forever. Our sense of normalcy growing up was hearing music playing throughout our house. We have distinct memories of riding in the backseat of the car jamming to Journey’s live album ‘Captured’, and air drumming with our dad. It’s still one of our favorite Journey albums to this very day. Aside from timeless rock music, our mom introduced us to country music early on which formed an unbreakable bond between the three of us.

The beginning instrumental of ‘Man I Feel Like A Woman’ by Shania Twain would instantly have all of us shouting the lyrics at the top of our lungs despite hearing the song for the thousandth time. Our parents are the main reason why we fell in love with music and the concert atmosphere.

As time goes on, our love for music continues to grow and expand into other genres: hip hop/rap, indie-pop, pop-punk, etc. We have been lucky enough to witness the live experiences of various artists, and have created memories that will last a lifetime. Music is the soundtrack to our lives; we turn to music to celebrate the good times, and it’s our safety net through the bad ones. We hope this media outlet can bring you inspiration, hope, and comfort. Music unites us now and always.
