“I’ve always loved storytelling and the way music can transport you to a different world.” Songwriter and book enthusiast, Sarah Barrios, has been surrounded by music her entire life. Her parents encouraged family jam sessions and jazz nights throughout her childhood. Sarah began playing guitar and writing songs when she was 13 years old. Songwriting quickly became her passion to the point of entering into countless songwriting contests, and attending regional performance competitions. She won Best New Artist at the New England Music Awards, and was a finalist in several songwriting competitions. Sarah’s talent did not go unnoticed, and was offered to open for other artists such as Charlie Puth.

Sarah decided to take the next step in her music career, and moved to Los Angeles in 2017. She landed her first publishing deal with Warner Chappell months later. Sarah has been a roaring success in the music industry in more ways than one. In the last few years, she had the opportunity to collaborate with artists such as Why Don’t We, Andy Grammer, and Zara Larsson. Sarah supported singer-songwriter Christian French on a nationwide tour, and performed at Lollapalooza and the Governors Ball Music Festival in 2021 alone. Based on the positive responses of fans on tour and social media, Sarah officially released her single ‘We Don’t Have to Die’ at the top of the new year. The acoustic pop singer continues to add an indie twist to her music alongside her authentic, transparent lyrics to make for an unforgettable listening experience.
