Pop boy band Full Circle Boys is garnering the attention of many on a global scale with their exquisite harmonies, catchy beats, and breathtaking choreography. The quintet is made up of Jagger Moon, James Herron, Sean Garrity, Ollie Hincy, and Dossan Bell who live and breathe dance. Their enthusiasm and strong work ethic shine bright with every step they take. Within the last year, the band has released their best work thus far with ‘Call My Name’ and ‘Me and You’ with more music on the horizon. They also embarked on their first headlining tour across the west coast during Feel Good Fest, and performed at iHeart Jingle Ball. With an ever-growing number of listeners and their fan base The Infinities in tow, Full Circle Boys are on their way to becoming a household name.

We would love to hear a little bit about how Full Circle Boys came to be, and where your name originated from.

Sean: “It all came to be because we all grew up in the dance world, and we’ve all known each other for a very long time prior to the band. We all kicked things off with our management, Jon and Stacy at High Road Entertainment, from there we organically formed the group ourselves. The name Full Circle comes from the idea that this is a full circle moment…it can mean a lot of things. It just felt right.”

Who came up with the name? Was it a collaborative process?

Jagger & Sean: “It was Sean, it was Sean.”

That’s great you guys were friends prior because as you go along your journey and dive into that fame your friendship will stay really tight [knit].

Jagger: “I think it makes it easier because you’re already open and honest with each other. There was no getting to know each other phase. Somebody already knew somebody within the band so it just made it really easy for people to click...When you look at other boy bands obviously they are put together, like One Direction and BTS or any K-pop group. They’re all formed and trained, and we were like oh yeah you will do.”

Dossan: “We all grew up at the same dance studio. Me, Jagger, and Ollie all grew up at the same dance studio, and then Sean and James were at the same dance studio so that’s really why it’s called Full Circle. We’ve grown up doing the same things with each other.”

Since dancing is such a big foundation for the band and the group dynamic, we also would like to know more about each of your individual experiences with dancing and getting started.

Ollie: “I grew up always loving music. I always danced around the house, and then my mom’s friend was like you should definitely put him in a dance class. At age 9 or 10, I was put in a dance class with Dossan and we did a little stormtroopers dance. It was awesome; it was so much fun. After that I loved dance and I just kept pursuing it. Then these boys asked me to be in the band, and here we are.”

Sean: “I started out doing a cowboy dance. I was eight [years old]...Ever since it evolved from there.”

Jagger: “For me, I loved High School Musical and Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson and the cast of High School Musical really got me into wanting to dance. I’ve been told I don’t remember because I was three [years old], but I was at my first basketball game and apparently when I got the ball I stopped in the middle of the court and started singing and dancing ‘Get’cha Head in the Game.’ From then on they said maybe sports isn’t this kid’s thing, maybe let’s put him in a dance class…My first dance I was a Ninja Turtle. It was the Nutcracker, but a weird rendition…From then on it’s been non-stop. I’ve gotten to play many characters. I grew up dancing at conventions. I was a convention kid. I toured with Hollywood Live, Velocity, I went to Infinity Dance with Dossan and Ollie. It’s been great. I don’t think I would be who I am without dance.”

Dossan: “Dancing didn’t come into the picture for me competitively until I was nine [years old]. I grew up playing some sports. I was doing basketball and soccer…but I was born with a bad heart. When I turned eight or nine, the doctor said no more sports. I transitioned over into dance because my mom said do you want to dance like your sisters. I said yes and fell in love with it. I’ve danced competitively since the fourth grade, and I always remembered seeing Jagger at the studio. He was like my big bro. I had classes with Ollie and remember him hitting the splits…I would always see him, and be like he’s one of the best here. My first dance was ‘Hit The Road Jack’ [by Ray Charles], but I was in a doctor’s outfit.”

James: “For me, sports was never something I was really interested in growing up. My mom was like I need to get you doing something, and luckily my best friend at the time invited me to a dance class. I ended up taking it and I fell in love with it. I think I was eight years old…that’s when I started my first hip-hop class. From there on out, I started competitively dancing around age 10 and that’s where I met Sean and from there on out it’s history…”

Sean: “There was a production, a Motown production, and James was one of the five, Jackson 5.”

Did any of you ever watch America’s Best Dance Crew?

Jagger: “Yes! The Poreotics went on tour after they won that show, and they came to Utah. The little boys crew I was in, we got asked to open for the Poreotics. It was so cool. We were not good at all so I don’t know why we were asked to open. It was funny I’ve been told to see all these little boys try and pop and lock and it just wasn’t it.”

It’s about the experience!

Jagger: “It was about the experience. I loved it.”

Sean: “I used to have a full Jabbawockeez fit. They were something.”

Since we are still talking about dancing, who typically creates the choreography displayed in your music videos and across social media? Is it more of a collaborative process?

Jagger: “It really depends…For ‘Call My Name,’ the music video that came out in August, that was collaborative. We all got in the garage, and choreographed it together. We did the mixtape and there were five songs [on it] so each one of us got one song. It depends on time management really, and if we have enough time we will choreograph it all together. But if we need to get this done now we will assign one person to do a certain thing…Some really cool people within the dance world are choreographing some upcoming stuff, which is really good.”

‘Call My Name’ is definitely our favorite song of yours, and we just watched the music video again. The choreography is so sick, and it’s really cool you all took part in that.

Jagger: “I think we are all really proud of that video. It turned out really good.”

Michael Jackson inspired the choreography in the music video. Any other influences for that video and your choreography in general?

Sean: “When we’re talking about ‘Call My Name,’ especially with that video, two of the big references for us were ‘My My My’ by Troye Sivan. Love that video. And also West Side Story. Those were two big influences of how we wanted it to look on screen.”

Dossan: “Sean usually calls it theatrical hip hop.”

Sean: “That’s kind of our best style: a little bit of technique but it’s hip hop.”

Do you have any other influences that you pull from?

Ollie: “I think Jungle definitely. We watch a lot of their videos. The way they do one-takers…we love that kind of stuff. We definitely reference that.”

Do you guys have favorite dance moves? Certain ones you lean towards or feel like you have to sprinkle in?

Jagger: “There’s certain things that are in every dance. Certain steps you do with your feet…but we never repeat the same set of moves next to each other. We like to keep it new and fresh.”

Ollie: “I know one thing we are really working on right now is a lot of footwork. Lite feet and other stuff like that.”

You mentioned collaborating with choreographers so can you tell us about your collaborations with producers Tricky Stewart and d.a. Got That Dope

Dossan: “The reason we were able to collaborate with Tricky Stewart is because we are partners with Jaycen Joshua who is a phenomenal mixer/mastering engineer…He’s one of the best, and he is good friends with Tricky. We were able to go to Georgia and record some really cool music, which is not out yet but it’s coming.”

Jagger: “d.a. [Got That Dope] was very interesting because we never met him. He was a part of the deal in conversations, but we never met him physically. He also knows Jaycen Joshua very well. We got sent the track for ‘Call My Name’ three years ago. We kind of sat on it for a while, but once we added Ollie and Dossan to the band we thought it would be a great first single…d.a. is trying to break into the pop world, and I guess a boyband is the perfect place to do it. His track list last year goes: Beyonce and then Full Circle Boys.”

In the near future are you guys interested in diving more into songwriting, instrumentation and production?

James: “Absolutely. Every day we are writing, creating. We definitely want to get into the production side of things. Hopefully that is in the near future.”

Do you have any dream collaborations? It can be choreography-based or just in general.

Sean: “Jagger and I were just talking yesterday about how sick it would be to collaborate with a DJ or EDM artist. We were thinking David Guetta would be cool. I really love club music and the way the crowd gets so hype. I feel it's very reminiscent about how we want to be performing, and what we want the audience to do for us. We love when the music is too loud, the bass is bumping, everybody is jumping. I told Jagger we should talk to David Guetta and do a daft punk-esque Beastie Boys type record. It would be crazy.”

Jagger: “We don’t know David Guetta but -”

James: “Manifesting.”

Sean: “I think a rapper would be cool too. I really love Busta Rhymes. I feel his voice is so different from ours it would compliment…and we could do a sick dance break.”

Dossan: “We always say Katseye.”

James: “Honestly any girl group would be cool.”

Jagger: “Choreography-wise we’ve always said Sean Lew. He is great at what he does and we would love to collaborate with Sean Lew one day. He’s our age, and it’s been cool seeing him grow up in the dance world and we can relate to him in a lot of ways.”

Sean: “We all listen to Childish Gambino. I know Ollie has been listening to that pretty heavily. So working with Donald Glover and Ludwig Göransson would be a dream. His music is incredible. Putting that one out into the universe as well.”

Speaking of great things, you guys toured for the first time last year. How was it?

Dossan: “High School Nation is what it was called. It was sponsored by Hollister. It was called Feel Good Fest…We went around the west coast between California, Arizona, and Las Vegas and they would set up a pop-up stage on the back of a semi truck. We got to perform in front of  schools with over 3,500 kids…towards the end we had them bumpin. We had a great time. It was so much fun. It was our first time being on the road together, and experiencing what it’s like to go show to show. It was for a month, and every day during the week.”

It was almost like your own little festival in a way.

Dossan: “We were the headliners.”

Jagger: “Yeah we were! We did Jingle Ball a few months ago as well. You know doing our own little festivals.”

What are a few things you learned from the tour that you can apply to your career and future?

Sean: “Have as much fun as possible. I think that was an important lesson…”

Ollie: “Yeah make the most of it and live in the moment.”

James: “Treat your body well because we’re performing literally every day.”

Sean: “Be good to your body. Drink a lot of water.”

Dossan: “Be good, eat good, sleep good.”

Do you have anything you do before you go on stage? Any rituals?

Sean: “I usually hit myself in the arm or my legs to warm up my muscles.”

Ollie: “I usually listen to music, and I do a little improv before. I don’t know why, but it has always helped me before I go on stage because I have all this energy

James: “Yeah we usually have a little prayer before, and a little chant that we do.”

Dossan: “I just don’t think about what I’m about to do. I zone out and when I get on stage I just let it happen. We do vocal warmups, that's what I was going to say.”

Jagger: “…The day of a performance I will watch a bunch of Michael Jackson videos and see how he performed and his dynamic, and how he could engage with the audience. I study him, and see how I can apply that. During Feel Good [Fest]...I would listen to songs that I used to dance to, that I used to do competition dances to. I wouldn’t improv, but since they [the shows] were on football fields I would walk around the track. “

We randomly thought about Justin Bieber’s Purpose Tour and his performance of ‘Children’ where he brought those kids up on stage. That would be so cool for you guys to somehow incorporate.

Ollie: “We would love to do that. I think we’ve talked about it a few times.”

Sean: “Well we do perform with Ollie.”

Jagger: “I am a bit bitter because I auditioned to be one of the kids on the stage, and I didn’t get it.”

James: “I never auditioned, but I learned the dance because it was a big thing on social media.”

Jagger: “A friend of ours made it, and she was on the stage and everything. I went to the show to watch, but when that part came on I was like ‘yeah Lauren!’ but then ‘I hate this so much.’”

We talked a bit about touring and Jingle Ball. Any other big events on the horizon?

Sean: “We’re going to New York in about a week…We’ve never been to New York as a group so it’s really exciting.”

Jagger: “We have a lot of cool videos and new songs coming out soon, which will take the focus for a little bit. As of right now there’s no big plans of any Feel Good Fests or Jingle Balls. We’re really going to be focused on the new upcoming songs and the visuals of it and all that. I’m really excited for people to finally see all of it

Dossan: “Yeah we want to put out more songs so that we can be doing the shows.”

Since it’s still the beginning of the year, do you have other goals for 2025? Professional or personal whatever you want to share!

Sean: “Go on more dates, that’s a personal thing. Put myself out there. And professionally, just tour. Travel as much as possible. I love being on the road.”

Jagger: “Personally I don’t even know. I live, breathe, and sweat Full Circle Boys. Just getting this music out that we’ve been working on is my number one goal because it’s been a long time coming. There’s been a lot of push and pull of when they were all going to come out, and finally we have dates officially for it. That’s my main goal is to get this all out, and make it the biggest thing ever.”
