“This is The Future Shine Tour” resonated throughout the room seconds before the entirety of flor made their appearance on stage in Indianapolis. Each band member delivered radiant smiles as the instrumentals of ‘Every Night’ started off the evening. The aura of the band instantly created a safe space, and took you to a place of tranquility and contentment that did not waver. Every track on the set list was strategically selected and placed to create a show of undeniable energy, and an overall wistful experience.

The vocals of Zach Grace (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards) were smooth, comforting, and incredibly captivating. The magic that ensued from his voice diffused good vibes into every corner of the room, and the crowd took in every bit. His ethereal vocal range was in perfect harmony with how delicately he strummed the guitar and touched the piano keys. “We are going to need some dancing around for this next track,” Zach says into the microphone. The levitating vocals and guitar riff placed fans in a trance. ‘dancing around’ was instantly deemed as the track to sway to with the ones you love most no matter where you are. The entire crowd was as emotionally invested as Zach when he put his heart and soul into a vocal run during ‘lmho,’ and slayed the keys to end the track. Jaws dropped in awe, and hands flew into the air to clap and go wild for the masterpiece of a performance.

“Indy has never gone this hard for flor before! What’s going on?” exclaimed Zach. The small, yet mighty crowd roared in response. The band wasted no time, and took the second half of the show to another level. flor had the crowd jumping in sync during ‘Big Shot,’ wrapped in a tight hug for ‘hold on,’ and feeling emotional as ever during ‘moonday.’ The band chemistry was remarkable, and unique in the best way. Each member contributed to this bond as they shared in the enjoyment of live music, and were devoted to providing an unforgettable experience for their supporters. Kyle Hill (drums) was on a platform overlooking the crowd, which allowed him to be more engaged with his bandmates and interact with fans throughout the show. Zach and Dylan Bauld (bass) thoroughly enjoyed standing on the platform to jam out with Kyle countless times. As ‘Gotta Do Something’ was coming to a close, Dylan leaned forward for fans in the front row to touch the neck of his bass. That simple gesture will live in the memories of those fans for years to come.

It is without a doubt this flor show in Indianapolis was unlike any other, and easily titled the music experience of a lifetime. From the beginning of the performance to the very last instrumental, flor had concert-goers moving in slow motion through a dreamy soundscape. They enticed the attendees with endless nostalgia, and provided an uplifting energy similar to the feeling of floating on a fluffy cloud. flor’s talent and authenticity will continue to glimmer through every aspect of their career, and land them as a fan-favorite time and time again.
