“...I just want to let everyone know that you can stay real and genuine, and still make your dreams come true.” From The Voice UK to signing with Atlantic Records, singer/songwriter Jamie Miller is achieving his dreams in real time. He is currently on his first national US tour as support for Jesse McCartney, and capturing the hearts and minds of everyone in attendance. The crowd in Indianapolis knew Jamie’s performance would be a memorable one the moment he walked on stage. His infectious smile and impeccable style drew your attention as the elegant keyboard riffs of ‘I Lost Myself In Loving You’ began to echo throughout the venue.
Jamie delivered an impressive acoustic performance of the track filled with vulnerable lyrics and effortless vocal runs. He poured out his emotions, and immersed himself in the music showing a deeply rooted personal connection. Once the instrumentals concluded, Jamie shared ‘I Lost Myself In Loving You’ had hit 10 million streams on Spotify that same day. This made for an incredibly special night, and Jamie was just getting started. He took the crowd back to 2012 when covering ‘Demons’ by Imagine Dragons. The crowd went wild as Jamie showcased his wide vocal range, and put his own spin on the timeless track. The addictive guitar riffs and catchy lyrics of ‘It Is What It Is’ proved one of the most noteworthy moments of the show, and had fans dancing the night away. The lyricism illustrates Jamie’s own personal life motto, and to ensure fans there is a light at the end of every tunnel.
The fans have always been at the forefront of Jamie’s mind in more ways than one. During ‘Over You,’ Jamie picked up fan’s phones, and took videos of him singing while the entire crowd vibed along with him. He made hand hearts back at fans as he performed ‘Here’s Your Perfect,’ and the phone flashlights illuminated the room. Jamie blew kisses while smiling ear-to-ear, and hit every person’s hand that was in the front row at the beginning and end of the show. Even after his set was over, Jamie continued to show endless love to the fans while meeting them. He greeted everyone with a big, comforting embrace, and made it a point to ask the name of each fan. Jamie was invested in every conversation, and treasured each moment with a sparkle in his eyes. He ensured to meet as many people as he could until the last call. Jamie is an inspiration to many, and uplifts those around him with his authentic music and kind-hearted personality. It’s without a doubt that Jamie will always wear his heart on his sleeve, and continue to transform into the musician he always knew he could be.
