Matt Hansen

Matt Hansen brought his something to remember tour to San Diego on a cold Thursday evening. The way he commanded the stage made it hard to believe this is his first headline tour. It has only been a few weeks since the release of "GRAVITY," but the sold-out crowd was singing along to every word. The momentum continued with "WHERE YOU BELONG" and "lifejacket" with the crowd swaying back and forth.
Matt brought out the acoustic guitar and played unreleased songs, which created anticipation and excitement about his new album and future releases. On another note, his rendition of "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls elicited a gigantic singalong that almost drowned out his powerful vocals. Before singing his cover of Coldplay's "Fix You" Matt said, "I wish I wrote this song." The hour-long set came to a fiery conclusion when he sang two of his most popular songs, “something to remember" and “LET EM GO." Everyone was screaming the lyrics back, and dancing their hearts out to end the night.
The San Diego show was indeed something to remember, and fans cannot wait to see his new material for future shows. This tour run is almost sold out, but keep tabs on Matt’s social media for new tours and more music to be announced.
