Dylan Scott
Tour Preview by Gabrielle (Gabby) Groves
Described on his website as “an old-soul songwriter with a young spirit,” country artist Dylan Scott is traveling across the U.S. on his Country Till I Die Tour. Shortly after the tour concludes, Scott will release his third full-length album, Easy Does It. The body of work includes 11 songs, such as ‘I Hate Whiskey,’ which has rapidly grown in popularity since its debut.
The 34-year-old CMT award winner puts his humorous side on display by advertising the tour with a couple of comical videos on his Instagram. They feature Scott as Paul Revere, a potato farmer, a snowboarder, and more depending on the city. This is something his fans, who are also known as his “Beer Buddies,” are used to. Besides humor, Scott also showcases his admiration for his family often, including his three children and wife, Blair, who inspired the songs ‘Can’t Have Mine (Find You A Girl)’ and his most popular hit, ‘My Girl.’ Scott grew up in Louisiana as the son of musician Scotty Robinson, and comes from a long line of musicians. While growing up, he also met his future wife in middle school and has been with her for almost two decades—well before he signed with Curb Records, and became a major country music artist.
The Country Till I Die Tour consists of 14 headlining dates for Scott, with support from openers George Birge, Dasha, and Graham Barham. They are hitting cities including New York, Denver, and Orlando, as well as Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It concludes on May 17th in St. Augustine, Florida, two weeks shy of the release of Easy Does It on May 30th. From April 24th-26th, Scott will also be performing at Clovis Rodeo, Stagecoach 2025, and in Henderson, Nevada, as part of a “Dylan Scott—An Evening With” concert, all of which have been listed as non-tour dates.
