Sarah Barrios is back at it again with more pop-punk goodness after releasing her newest single ‘Aftermath of You.’ This is her second independent release, and second single off of her upcoming EP. Sarah is known for taking her love for books and storytelling to another level by creating songs based off of storylines and characters. She made it a point to write ‘Aftermath of You’ based off of The Cruel Prince. Sarah brought the song to life with a visual in her head that is perfectly displayed as the artwork for the single. Two characters appeared to be soulmate material, and “started picture-perfect, happily ever after.” In the end, they reminisce about the time they spent together and how grueling it will be to get through the aftermath of the relationship. The infectious guitar riff and intense drum loop accompanied by Sarah’s signature vocals and genius lyrics swiftly pulls you into the magic that is the ‘Aftermath of You.’
