If you take a look at pop singer-songwriter elijah woods’ Spotify page, you’ll see a collection of dream-like songs that can make the listener feel like they’re driving across the countryside on a bright summer day. All tracks are produced by woods, and the most popular being ‘24/7, 365’ off of the 2023 EP bright orange everglow. Each line in the chorus uses a measurement of time to emphasize the love that woods has for the subject of the song. He has since released another EP in March 2024 titled silver lining, which he describes as a way “to process the grief of losing a close friend.”

From 2014 to 2020, woods was in a pop duo with singer-songwriter Jamie Fine. Their version of the song ‘Ain’t Easy’ has over 19 million streams, and it helped them win the second episode of the singing competition show The Launch. Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine released the 8-track album 8:47 in 2019. A year later, woods and Fine went their separate ways. woods produced and co-wrote the song ‘I’m not Pretty’ by JESSIA, which was released in 2021. At the same time, woods started working on his own music and also collaborated with JESSIA for a song on his EP, look what i made. In 2022, woods released a single titled ‘matthew,’ a touching tribute to his older brother that passed away due to a car accident when woods was just 13 years old. 

Woods has gained popularity in his home country of Canada, as well as several countries in Asia where the majority of his Spotify listeners are from. The Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan are all stops on his upcoming nine-date tour in May. That same month, woods is the special guest performing at Niall Horan’s show in Jakarta, Indonesia, and is on the lineup for the Seoul Jazz Festival 2024 in Korea.
