Spencer Sutherland is in his mania, and if you think he is slowing down anytime soon…think again. This new era has allowed Spencer to blossom as an artist and a performer. His debut album, In His Mania, revealed his signature sound all the while embracing his strengths and breaking a few rules along the way. Through his conversational lyrics and strong stage presence, Spencer has come out of his shell and emerged as the artist everyone always knew he could be. He shines as bright as the north star whenever he enters the room, and he took concert-goers’ breath away the second he took the stage in Indianapolis.

Spencer stepped through a large LED star that matched the color of his blue satin shirt. He admired the crowd near and far while using his hand to shield his eyes. Spencer jumped right in with a performance of ‘Everybody,’ and made it known he was more than ready to deliver an unforgettable performance. “Welcome to the In His Mania tour. My name is Spencer,” he stated with a smile a mile wide. Following karate kicks and shaking his hips during ‘Jealousy,’ Spencer turned around to show off his outfit and ask the crowd’s opinion. They roared with approval, and Spencer took in every second. The level of self-confidence radiating from Spencer was off the charts as he performed tracks new and old. Everyone was left speechless, and begging for more.

Spencer absolutely owned the stage during ‘Cry’ and ‘Summer Camp’ with captivating instrumentals, timeless production, and an indescribable vocal range. He kept the surprises coming, and magically appeared in the back of the venue for an intimate performance of ‘Wonder.’ He greeted a fan with a delicate handshake, and said hello to a few others. His effortless falsettos sent chills throughout your body as the glitter on his cheeks sparkled in the spotlight. Spencer sprinkled in a bit of nostalgia with ‘Sweater’ and ‘Outrun The Feeling.’ The crowd’s energy was exhilarating, and this show was unlike any other. Spencer bonded with fans while standing on the barricade, and wearing a sweater vest with In His Mania stitched on the back. 

Spencer’s ability to charm the large crowd while simultaneously displaying endless passion for his craft was magical. It was heartwarming to see how comfortable he was in his own skin, and being his most authentic, true self. Witnessing Spencer’s growth as an artist and performer over the years has been a blessing for many, and being a part of the Indianapolis show brought up a lot of emotions. The In His Mania tour created memories of a lifetime for all who attended, and was a major career milestone. Spencer Sutherland will always be a superstar shining bright through the music industry with his eccentric artistry, snazzy fashion sense, and heart of gold.
