The Strike

Article by Sara Rosenthal

Last Friday night marked the beginning of the Labor Day festivities, and The Strike kicked it off in fantastic fashion. The crowd was excited even before the opener, Lostboycrow, took to the stage. Lostboycrow just upped the ante, and had the crowd singing and dancing along to his tracks ‘Dirty Dancing’ ‘Orange Juice,’ and ‘Devil’s in the Backseat.’

During the changeover between sets, the crowd eagerly moved closer to the stage in anticipation of The Strike. Stepping on stage to raucous cheers, they started off the set with ‘Overtime,’ ‘Miles Ahead,’ and ‘Painkillers’ from their latest album The Lost Years. Halfway through, they announced they will slowly release music over the next few months that will eventually become a new album. Their latest release, ‘American Dream,’ had the crowd singing and dancing along.

Nine more stops are left on this tour, and they are selling quickly! The Strike is incredible live, and you don’t want to miss out!  Stay tuned to their social media for more info, and upcoming music releases.
