From their origin to their genre-bending music, indie-rock band The Hails have created a category of their own. After countless coincidences pushed the members closer and closer together over the years, it is safe to say the existence of The Hails was written in the stars. The five-piece band officially formed at the University of Florida, and their name was selected from the school’s alma mater. Their college experiences and everything in between has helped shape The Hails’ sound into what it is today. The delicacy in which they craft each track produces an edgy, nostalgic, and groovy sound destined to be stuck in your head for days on end. Their debut album, What’s Your Motive, was amplified into a deluxe version and released earlier this month. With this monumental body of work, The Hails have received millions of global streams, chart placements on NACC, and support from Spotify and Apple Music. After a successful first headlining tour run in fall 2023, all eyes have been on The Hails. They have taken their art to the stage once again, and are currently amidst the second leg of the What’s Your Motive Tour.
